Human Intervention.

Today like many days this week I was somewhat late, not extremely late but the kind of late that will get you even more late because you were 20 seconds late for your bus which makes you 1 hour late for work or costs you too much.

Only difference was that today I was proved to once more that there are genuinely nice people. One of the trains conductors had seen me sprinting to the train had postponed the doors from closing until id managed to get inside. I have to say I couldnt thank him enough.

It had completely contridicted my viewpoint of the train service, usually when I talk of it, I talk of how late trains were or how 1,2 or even 3 in a row were cancelled. Unforuantely Today is the last of regular train journeys for me and I now have to start using the bus. I strongly recommend anyone who can should use the train. Its cheaper usually now anyhow.

People have "Wheelie bin" out of control with animals lately

For the second time in 2 months an animal has been found in a wheelie bin.

I am unsure as to what fun the people doing this get. The first being a women who was caught on camera throwing a neighbours cat in the bin ( the second a cockrel (

Its irritating, and i would like to try to grasp the thought from these people in order to what is so fun abou this.

I have spent all morning trying to get my Dell streak fixed.

1st attempt a very long call to o2. They told me my claim to put the repair through them and use the insurance i Pay £10 a month for was rejected. I can appeal but it wont do much good.

2nd attempt A conversation withh DELL themselves. "I'm sorry sir but we dont offer a screen repair service at the moment" "So what do you propose i do buy a complete new handset" "yeah thats the only thing you can do"
‎3rd attempt. Found a site that claims to be able to repiar damaged dell streak screens. Lovely stuff. Hold on no because they wont answer their fricken phones. So E-mail sent and hopefully I wont be waiting to much longer to fork out £110 for a screen replacement.
I must point out that I decided on this phone over the iPhone because of its "Gorrilla" Glass Screen. Dell claim it able to take quite a significant amount of punishment. However one drop off the lap onto the floor from sofa hight (Carpeted  floor might i add) and bam the screen behind the front screen cracks. Great stuff. :/

Just thought he'd pope round.

I now have some small amount of respect for this man called the pope. Although in recent times he has decided that Atheists are on the same moral standing as Nazi Germans, I have found some small hope for this man.

During the weekend the pope has appologised to everyone who was a victim of Catholic priests sexual abuse. He has also devoted some personell time to see a handful in person. Im not sure any of this will help in any huge way for his poplarity or the torment for the molested. However at least he has made the effort and is clearly human. He clearly is only attempting the best of intentions.

For that  Mr pope you have some of my respect.

Is he on pope?

The pope today compared atheists to Nazi Germans.

Now lets have a little think here.

Here is one of the quotes dear old bennedict made:

"Even in our own lifetimes we can recall how Britain and her leaders stood against a Nazi tyranny that wished to eradicate God from society and denied our common humanity to many, especially the Jews, who were thought unfit to live."

Now here are the facts, Hitler was a christian yes a christian not an Atheist. Although his beliefs did stray away from christianity slightly.

Secondly Here is a quote from hitler on atheism:

"Today they say that Christianity is in danger, that the Catholic faith is threatened. My reply to them is: for the time being, Christians and not international atheists are now standing at Germany’s fore. I am not merely talking about Christianity; I confess that I will never ally myself with the parties which aim to destroy Christianity. Fourteen years they have gone arm in arm with atheism. At no time was greater damage ever done to Christianity than in those years when the Christian parties ruled side by side with those who denied the very existence of God. Germany's entire cultural life was shattered and contaminated in this period. It shall be our task to burn out these manifestations of degeneracy in literature, theater, schools, and the press—that is, in our entire culture—and to eliminate the poison which has been permeating every facet of our lives for these past fourteen years."

Kind of speaks for itself bennedict.

This accusation of bennedicts is a huge insult especially adding to this guys record with human rights. A man who is constantly aiming towards the detriment of women, gays and who turns a blind eye towards peadophelia in his own church.

Personally i think the pope been smoking some of the good stuff.

Nerves and confidence

Today im off to birmingham. Im there in accordance to cooking for a lass.

Usually this situation would make me quite nervous. Reasons? Because im quite the "Nerdy" Charachter, however thanks to a radio show i listened to a while back these situations no longer become the nervous episodes they once was. Nerves or rather the feeling of being nervous is the same chemical reaction as confidence, so therefore as long as the mindset in place you have is that of there is no nervous situations just confident ones you have no reason to be nervous. But still i shall wish myself luck. Tonights dinner? Chicken nuggets. As requested by the lady in question. :D

The smiley faced man

Every day whilst on the way in and way home from work I pass a man who always seems to be smiling. He is not necessarily smiling at anyone or anything but still finds it necessary to smile.

I envy this man as there are certain times where i cannot smile at all. To be able to have such difiniteve happiness is a thing that everyone should long for. It almost proves the philosophy ive tried hard to live by when i first thought it which is "Instead of searching for happiness just be happy being" This man clearly is just happy to be being.

Sp thumbs up to the bloke i only know as the smiley faced man

Depression to progression

for a few weeks i had "Suffered" what seemed to be depression. Thanks to help from a dear friend of mine i managd to sort my head out. The problems that existed seemed to be entirely made by my own head. And now they are gone everything is moving forward.

I always used to clam up if i had a problem but i suggest to anyone who is like that to talk to somone, even if its just that one. It helps believe me.

Another friend of mine had fallen into depression just after i had sorted myself out. I was there for them to talk to and they came out feeling better.

Depression is a stop of progression so if your depressed focus on progressing and your depression shall cease

A cost cutting exercise

Today I have bought a product which is much the similar to pot noodle. Instead it is called noodle tub is half the price and has a less appealing cover. I am eating the noodles as i write this now. Not exactly as i pictured though as i found out why it is half the price. A pot noodles tub can withstand boiling water without perferating, this one however did not and i had to scramble for a bowl. They taste Quite nice though. better tasting than the pot noodle. However If i wanted noodles in a bowl i wouldve bought super noodles. Morrisons Get your act together

Hello (and its counterparts)

Through my day to day life i have to say this has got to be the most used word along with its counterparts in the english language. Even total strangers will pass by and say "alright mate" "Hey up" and so on. Other times it is used as a formal or informal greeting for people who do know eachother. but why?

Would the world be able to work without greetings?

The Love dilema

Well the last few days have been strange. And for some reason I feel terrible because of it. The weekend consisted of me doing my usual rounds to family members and friends. In addition to this however I have been texting a female associate. Nothing smutty just general chit chat. However through the last few break offs of the conversations I have received a reply saying "Love you xxx". How do you reply to that?

The first time I replied with a simple "ok" which I felt bad about putting. The reason I feel bad about this is because if this girl is genuinely serious about this "love you" business, how on earth do you respond? Should I lie and say "I love you to" of course I do not, i Hardly know the girl. however I also do not want to hurt anyones feelings.

I have been tempted just not to respond at all but for the reason I have already mentioned. It brings up an age old question which I still do not know the answer to. the question us this "Whats more important being nice or being honest?".

Its not as though I dislike this girl though as conversations up until that point are quite enjoyable.

Why oh why does love have to enter the frame....

Social Networking

I remember about a 3 years ago social networking seemed pointless to me and I had no profiles whatsoever. I also used to listen to a radio show called "The night Before". The 3 presenters on that show were Nick Margerrison, Amy Jones and Alex Baker. All 3 of whom were on twitter. As the show was being cancelled I set up a profile to see what them presenters were doing away from my favourite radio show. In a short time i was tweeting once a week which turned into once a day. I turned into quite the twitterer. Until recently I chose not to induldge in Bebo, myspace, Facebook & others.

I then got conned by a friend to set up a facebook profile so that he could contact me in a cheaper way than texting. Now I am also a member of a website called My yearbook. I am now strapped down to 2 hours a day replying and updating on status'.

This has been brought to my attention from watching a new southpark episode about facebook.

I seriously suggest to anyone that hasn't got a Social networking profile to keep it that way and never to get sucked into the nonsense

"Are you still enjoying work?" and other stupid questions

I am forever being asked by family members. "Hows work?" To which I usually reply "Its ok I guess" Wanting to end that line of conversation there. However Its usually followed up by something ridiculous like "Are you still enjoying it?" Arghh!!! I have never ENJOYED work. Nobody enjoys working. You do not go to work to enjoy yourself you go there to earn money which in turn can be used to help you enjoy things. I constantly get agitated by this one especially.

Another stupid question that gets my goat is the question most people ask when you have clearly had a haircut. "Have you had a Haircut?" F**K off. Of course i've had a haircut you Idiot. Now however I no longer get angry about this and follow up with a simple "No my hair just fell out, to perfect length and accuracy" Only once has someone been stupid enough to answer that with "Really?"

Picture this. It must not just be me. Your sitting on your sofa. Watching a television programme you like. Lets say QI for the purpose of the example. Then someone walks in and says "Do you like QI then?" What the hell. Of course I do thats why I am watching it you fool. Who in their right minds would sit watching tele but to a programme they do not like.

Perhaps its just me overreacting but it's irritating to say the least.

Although todays date does not feel as though it has any significance it is still a day that maybe could gain significance.

I have learnt a few lessons in the past 2 years. One being that religion is the most rediculous load of... well you get the idea.

I have had many an argument with people who believe that certain philosphies I choose to undertake is almost like a religion itself. I of course know this to be stupidity.

I am currently trying a philosophy I was told about by my cousin. "Throughout life people are trying to search for happiness whether through religion or the materialistic world, however once they reach any goal they have already set a new one to be happy. People should not search for happiness but rather be happy just being. This doesn't mean to say do not work hard or try an achieve things. It just means to be happy even before that goal is reached"
